Accessible by design, honest about the gaps

SpinFin aims to make its information usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including visitors who navigate with a keyboard, use screen-reading software, enlarge text, rely on high-contrast settings or reduce animation at operating-system level.

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as the main technical benchmark for the site. SpinFin has not commissioned an independent WCAG conformance audit, so we do not describe the current website as fully WCAG 2.2 AA compliant or certified.

SpinFin is designed to support common accessibility needs. In practical terms, visitors should be able to:

• move through primary controls and links using a keyboard;
• see a visible focus indicator on interactive controls;
• skip repeated navigation and move directly to the main content;
• use semantic headings, landmarks and labelled controls with assistive technology;
• zoom or use browser text-size controls without requiring a desktop-only layout;
• use the site on narrow mobile screens without horizontal page scrolling in normal content;
• reduce non-essential animation when the device requests reduced motion.

Primary navigation, FAQ controls, game filters, search controls, carousel controls and the responsible-gambling reminder use native links, buttons or form elements so they can be reached without a mouse.

A skip link is provided at the start of the page for keyboard users. The mobile navigation removes hidden controls from the tab order when the menu is collapsed, and the responsible-gambling reminder does the same while its panel is closed.

The promotional carousel can advance automatically. It includes an explicit pause or resume control, and it also pauses while a pointer is over the carousel or keyboard focus is within it. This gives visitors a way to stop timed movement without waiting for the slide cycle to finish.

SpinFin also respects the browser or operating-system prefers-reduced-motion setting. When reduced motion is requested, transitions and animations are reduced to near-instant changes.

Pages use semantic landmarks such as header, navigation, main, section and footer. Decorative SVG elements are hidden from assistive technology where they do not add meaning, while interactive buttons receive accessible labels where visible text alone is not sufficient.

Game catalogue cards present the title and provider as real text rather than relying on an image alone. Accordion controls expose their expanded state, and carousel slide selectors identify the active slide programmatically.

SpinFin uses a dark background with light body text and high-visibility green, purple and blue accents. Important information should not depend on colour alone; labels, text, borders, icons and layout are used together where status or meaning needs to be understood.

The site uses system fonts rather than a downloaded webfont. Base text is deliberately larger and heavier than a typical compact marketing layout, while headings and content blocks scale responsively with the viewport.

Controls are designed mobile-first, with primary buttons and form controls given touch-friendly height and spacing. Content reorganises into a single-column flow on smaller screens, and game filters and search controls remain usable without hover-only interaction.

We still recommend using your browser or device accessibility settings if you need larger text, stronger contrast, voice control or other assistive features beyond the website itself.

SpinFin has not been independently tested across every combination of screen reader, browser, magnification tool, voice-control system and mobile assistive technology. For that reason, we do not claim full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance.

• The carousel and game catalogue may behave differently across uncommon browser and assistive-technology combinations.
• Colour contrast is designed for strong visibility, but every transient hover, focus and promotional colour combination has not been independently certified.
• Game catalogue cards use decorative graphics alongside real text labels; they are not presented as gameplay screenshots or as a complete description of each title.
• Third-party websites reached through external or affiliate links are outside SpinFin's control and may have different accessibility standards.

Some SpinFin links can take visitors to external websites. Those destinations may use different layouts, consent tools, account flows, payment interfaces or accessibility practices. SpinFin cannot change the code or accessibility behaviour of a third-party site.

If an external destination creates an accessibility problem, report it to that site's operator where possible. If a SpinFin link itself is unclear, broken or difficult to use, you can report that separately through our contact route.

Helpful reports include the page address, what you were trying to do, the device or browser involved and the assistive technology you were using if relevant. Do not send passwords, payment credentials or identity documents.

If a particular layout prevents you from accessing important site information, tell us which page or section is affected. Where reasonably possible, the same information can be supplied or rewritten in a simpler text-based format while the underlying accessibility issue is reviewed.
