01

What this Cookie Policy covers

This Cookie Policy explains how betspinfin.com uses cookies and similar technologies on the SpinFin information and affiliate website. It should be read together with the Privacy Policy.

This policy describes the technologies used by SpinFin as reviewed on 31 July 2026. If analytics, advertising technology, consent-management software or other browser storage is introduced, this page will be updated and any required controls will be provided before non-essential technology is used.

02

What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small piece of information that a website can store on a browser or device. Cookies can be used for functions such as security, remembering settings, measuring visits, maintaining sessions or supporting advertising.

The same privacy rules can also apply to other technologies that store information on, or access information from, a device. Depending on how a site is built, that can include local browser storage, tracking pixels, scripts, tags, link decoration, device identifiers or fingerprinting techniques.

03

Current SpinFin cookie status

SpinFin does not intentionally set non-essential cookies for analytics, advertising, retargeting or behavioural profiling. It also does not use localStorage or sessionStorage for visitor tracking.

Because SpinFin does not currently use optional tracking technologies, there are no optional cookie categories to accept or reject through a separate consent banner. This position is reviewed whenever the site's hosting, security or tracking technology changes.

04

Strictly necessary technology

A live hosting, security or content-delivery service may sometimes use technical storage that is genuinely necessary to deliver a page, balance network traffic, maintain security or carry out another function specifically requested by the visitor.

Where a cookie or similar technology is strictly necessary to provide the requested service, UK rules may allow it to operate without optional-cookie consent. That exemption is narrow: a technology is not strictly necessary merely because it is useful to SpinFin or convenient for measuring the website.

05

Analytics

SpinFin does not currently use a third-party web analytics platform. There is no Google Analytics, advertising analytics tag or equivalent browser-based audience-measurement script intentionally installed on the site.

If analytics that store or access information on a visitor's device are introduced, SpinFin will explain what they do and provide the consent or other controls required by the rules that apply.

06

Advertising, pixels and profiling

SpinFin does not intentionally use advertising pixels, retargeting tags, cross-site behavioural profiling or device-fingerprinting scripts.

If advertising or profiling technology is added in the future, it must not be treated as automatically necessary simply because the website earns revenue. Appropriate transparency and consent controls must be implemented before optional advertising storage or access begins where required.

07

Affiliate links and redirects

SpinFin contains affiliate links. A promotional button may pass through a SpinFin link before sending you to a separate website. This allows outbound destinations to be managed consistently across the site.

SpinFin does not intentionally set an affiliate-tracking cookie in your browser. Once you reach an external destination, that separate website may set its own cookies or use its own analytics, attribution and account technologies. SpinFin does not control those third-party technologies.

08

Third-party websites

A cookie used by a website you visit after leaving SpinFin is governed by that website's own privacy and cookie information. The destination service may have different purposes, retention periods, providers and consent options.

Before creating an account or providing personal or payment information on another website, review its current privacy notice, cookie notice and available consent controls. Closing or rejecting cookies on SpinFin does not automatically change settings on a separate website.

09

When consent is required

Under UK rules, visitors should be given clear information about storage and access technologies. Where consent is required, it must involve a real choice and a clear positive action. Simply continuing to browse should not be treated as consent to optional tracking.

Non-essential technologies should not be activated before the required consent has been obtained. If SpinFin later introduces optional analytics, advertising or similar technologies, visitors should be able to reject or disable them as easily as they can accept them.

10

Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers allow you to inspect, delete or block cookies and other site data. Depending on the browser, you may be able to block third-party cookies, clear stored data when the browser closes or use a private-browsing mode.

Browser controls apply across websites and can affect features that genuinely depend on cookies. If SpinFin introduces an on-site cookie-preference control, it can be used for SpinFin-specific optional technologies, while browser settings remain an additional option.

11

Why there is no cookie preference panel right now

A consent interface should reflect the technologies actually running on a website. SpinFin does not currently use optional analytics, advertising or profiling cookies, so there are no optional categories to switch on or off through a SpinFin preference panel.

If that changes, an appropriate consent and preference mechanism must be added before non-essential technologies are enabled where required. The policy should then identify the relevant categories, purposes, providers and storage durations.

12

Changes to cookie use

The services used to host, secure or improve SpinFin may change over time. New analytics, advertising systems or embedded third-party features can also change the way storage and access technologies are used.

SpinFin reviews cookie use whenever a new script, tag, embedded service or tracking feature is introduced. If the change affects visitors, this policy and any required consent controls are updated with the new technology.
